At the mini drone building workshop, participants are given the opportunity to design and create their own drone with laser cutter or 3D printer!
Laser cutting:
We draw the frame from scratch in Fusion 360 or Google Sketchup, as we laser cutter. Full training will be provided.
3D printing:
The dron frame can be made from ice sticks and 3D printed parts, or only 3D printing. We use Fusion 360 or Sketchup and Slic3r or Cura to prepare the files for the printer.
It takes between two and four hours to build and the test flight drone. Participants must bring their own laptop/Mac to design or change the files. The program fits from 10 years. Smaller children can participate with an adult.
The workshop can be done for up to 20 participants at a time and is based on the superstable and repairableMakeadrone micro drone building kit.
The course holder is Henning Pedersen, who has six years of experience as a drone builder and course holder as well as a Guinnes record. He runs daily the educational building concept makeadrone.net
